Outlawing AstroTurf

This game's fun, ok? Fun, goddamnit.

Who am I?

Well, I’m a fourth liner or utility infielder at best, but I’m a great guy in the clubhouse.

I like old cardboard and making fun of things. Tomfoolery and shenanigans are my game.

When the New York Rangers missed the playoffs this year, it was because of the bad karma that was earned by former player Robbie Ftorek when he for some reason decided to wear his helmet like this. Couldn’t just rock it like a champ like Lanny McDonald, eh Robbie? Gotta be an asshole about it instead? Fine.
Pretty important day today, now more than ever. His is a story that needs to be remembered. #jackierobinsonday #42
I do not like the Baltimore Orioles. Not one bit. But you gotta respect Earl Weaver. Not only was the dude hilarious (look up his tirades on the internet) but he also looked like an old man for what I can only assume was his entire life.
This is Domingo Martinez. He was the Opening Day first baseman for the #BlueJays in 1993. He also finished with a career Major League average of .409 (look it up). John Olerud only hit .363 that year. Interesting...
Mark Napier had a nice professional hockey career. He also for some reason sported the Cooper XL7 helmet for a time. Because of this, the obvious conclusion to reach here is that he became a serial killer later in life, but as of now that appears to be inaccurate.
Today in “rocking the shit out of amazing glasses from the 1980s,” I present to you Dave Collins of the Oakland A’s. Despite his appearance, the dude could fly.

I also Tweet on the Twitter sometimes.

Bill Buckner, the Kansas City Royals and Black Holes

So, the Kansas City Royals are currently in the World Series.  I don’t know about you, but I didn’t see that coming in 2014… and wouldn’t you know it, they’re fairly likeable.  Hard to really hate a team like the one they’ve got.  Somehow, they’ve turned the also reasonably likeable Giants into the hated Yankees. […]
